Ned’s Bed

I have been spending a fair amount of time plotting my Australian visit next month with my sister – we will be driving up from Sydney to Murwillumbah and she has booked us into her favorite halfway stopover: Ned’s Bed. Do click the link!
We will be travelling with Cairo,
and they have stayed here before and loved it . I am having such fun seeing my visit gain structure: my life is sometimes very satisfying.

My dear school friend in New York sent me this photo of a peacock in flight. I tend to think of them as empty-headed creatures with an irritating call, and this reminds me how beautiful they are, thank you Maryna.

I seem to be melting into soppy bliss tonight so I’ll just enjoy it, the first warm day we have had, cat and dog unusually affectionate and the weekend to come. Pretty good, enjoy it!
