Why do the stars align so beautifully some days? Today was one of them.
We needed to shoot an additional sequence for the Angel Island commercial. Islands have a special magic anyway, and the ride over made me love living on the bay all over again – we spotted lots of seals, and an amazing gathering of grebes -
and the island itself is so beautiful, green and exotic.

Mission accomplished, we had lunch with the talent at the cafe then back to the mainland, where I suddenly found the energy to tackle the tricky carpentry above my wardrobe, into the gable. It may not be quite I-have-Created-Fire!! but it felt pretty good. I have so many projects on the boil at the moment I was getting bogged down.
And then (there’s more…), Stefan commented that the light was good, so we bundled everything up and drove to China Camp, me still in my work clothes, to shoot stills of the Raw Collection which will go up next month. Stylists have used it again and again, so why not make it available?

I think a deep bath is in order. I am so enlivened I shall probably heat the water…

Don’t you wish everyday could be like the day you had today?!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and your bath.

Today was indeed magical – Alex and I drove Hwy 1 from Mill Valley all the way up to Tomales. It was so clear that you could see all the way to the Farralons with no threat of haze or fog.
So funny, because our first plan today was to head to Angel Island….
See you soon!
Sounds like a perfect day!
Hi Tricia,
Gosh, I was so shocked to read your comment about getting waylaid at The Point! It sounds as if everything turned out OK. I’m so sorry. You should have called Chris and I!
Next time you better!!!
Wishing you a more stress free week my friend,
Lots of Love,
Terri
just another day in paradise
