Things to Love

The emphasis in that title is on ‘things’. I am belatedly entering the Christmas spirit, which is unstinting.

Love these hand-blown glass candles:

No wax on the table! A real flame, and enviable simplicity…

The perfect white T shirt. follow the link for viciously honest feedback. Armani Exchange comes out as best value, sheeesh… It is simply the best, and thank goodness has just been sold, from Bolinas to Tybee Island. Should be in good hands there!

Paperwhites. These say Christmas to me – and white hyacinths, although they never last.
Amaryllis do, but have no scent.

this way I can have chickens too

Topiary in pots – in a future life.
An oxy-acetylene torch, just a little one. I want to learn a new craft, but this one is probably far into the future. My New Year’s Resolution is to learn about Art History and appreciation, which will keep me busy for a while.

We have already had the beautiful total lunar eclipse before dawn on Saturday, and the solstice celebrations are to come. Nothing like getting right back to the basics, the fundamentals of being earth-born.

Paperwhites are my favorites! I took a jewelry-design class once where we used torches — think I’ll stitch with my needles.

The lunar eclipse, yes a red moon is definitely more thrilling than a blue moon.
I have some of those floaty candlesticks but not so beautifully designed, they are very practical and fun.
    Happy holidays Tricia Rose.
