Oh No! Not Yet!

August, yet it doesn’t feel like August or look like August. Cool and overcast, and I feel like holing up in my little house to be very, very quiet with old books, fresh bread and home made soup. I bough a soft fluffy robe yesterday, and I’m reading The Power of Now, Reading Lolita in Tehran and something called White Teeth (no, it’s not about dental care.)

Calm before storm? We go to New York on our Big Adventure August 8.

Not Yet!! is right, we truly have been having the strangest summer weather that I can remember. Soup does sound good though, I love soup in any kind of weather. Fall will be here before we know it!! Kathysue

I am so enjoying this cooler than normal summer. Love that mermaid on your fireplace and the kitty bundled in a basket at the hearth. I have baked beans in the mini crockpot and will make some homemade corn bread. Your journey to NYC in the forefront of my thoughts. Wishing you the best!
