Feet – Up here. Ground – down there.

Lyfe, my dears, in all it’s glory, has been too much for me of late (I have been thinking of Edward Burra)

Winter - Edward Burra

The Remodelista/SummerHouse Market was pretty wonderful for me, over six hundred people through the doors, and wonderful co-stallholders (some of them handsome young men…) I brought my stuff in my two British Rail laundry hampers, weighed a ton in the morning, light as air in the afternoon! That’s the way to do it! I loved that it was a family event, my family, plus lots of adorable babies visiting, blogging friends (hi Kit!)

Monday was a blank, Tuesday chock full of politicians as we were filming in Sacramento, I so enjoyed seeing the Governator’s Office and some of the inside workings. We are shooting for the CPUC, an interesting body full of superior brain power, I was impressed and for a moment my attention was diverted from linen… but not for long.

Watch this space – there will be news.

  1. Tricia,
LOVE the painting. But I am so in the dark. What are you selling at the market. Feeling silly that don’t know! Xo, Lynn

So glad your show was successful Tricia! Wish I could have been there….

  3. Stitchfork says:

Just found you via La Dolfina. Loved the UCLA pillow you created for her son. And wishing I had the view you have from your machine in your blog header!
    Cathy

  4. Thrilled the show was enjoyable and successful. Nothing worse than too many wares making the return journey.
