Eye Candy

A glorious splurge of the beauties I have been stock-piling on my desktop~
this came from Leo
I pruned my ramping rosamutabilis chinensis and didn’t have the heart to throw away all the blossom
Maya featured this wonderful succulent pirate’s garden on Completely Coastal

this worn old plastic rope was such a lovely colour, it deserved a champagne glass and some coral – it is sitting in my empty window frame

Until I take a photo I find it hard to see the beautiful little things around me. Taking photos has changed the way I perceive (I recall a fuzzy memory of some lecture about involvement changing perception – was it physics?). Or that we need to make an emotional investment in something before it has meaning for us? Oh ego, ego!

Thank you for the lovely eye candy, it's just what I needed on this hot Friday afternoon! And it's so true, photography does change the way you look at the world! Enjoy your weekend!
