Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree….

I have been hoarding this poor discarded last-year’s-plaything since October when I found the old girl on the beach and dragged her home. She spent the next two months propped behind the fig tree until I hung her up and sprayed her silver, including the fragile banners of seaweed she acquired on her travels when she lost all her needles. She looks gold in this light, which is fine by me. Minimal, yes? recycling, you bet!

This is more like her real colour, though the rest of the house isn’t quite as restrained.
