The Oyster Chandelier – Foundations

After lunch I assembled shells, drill, drill bits and a big hat, ready to start on the oyster chandelier now that I have found sturdy wire for the frame.

So far so good, except you wouldn’t believe how long it took to drill two small neat holes in each one. And I broke one drill bit.

I have stopped to cool down and have an nice English cup of tea. I have a seven-year-old visiting this afternoon, could I delegate drilling to him?
