Orkney

I have been sewing like stink all weekend, inspired to revamp my website with Stefan’s help. I was moved to make him a Sheila-cake this afternoon since he has been so helpful and supportive through this tortuous process. We are simplifying and circling away from my original fascination with the flags, moving more towards what people actually want. How’s that for a selling concept!

Since I am obsessed with linen, and in its purest form with natural, coarse, homespun sort of linen, I made just four in dark natural and white. Like them?

This is in fact a colour photo – talk about monochrome! The sky has been grey all day, lit a fire tonight for the first time and four of us watched Mamma Mia! while Felix squirmed with embarrassment.
